Responsibilities:
- Incident Management. Manage high severity incidents with customer impact with focus of recovering services as soon as possible
- Incident Management. Manage incident trends with focus to close the loop on problems/incidents
- Root Cause Analysis. Drive root cause analysis to prevent re-occurrence of problem incidents
- Capacity Management. Manage business volumes against IT resources allocated to ensure adequate capacity (not excessive)
- Technical and Functional Competency. Maintain technical and functional knowledge on applications systems supported
- Patch Management. Manage patch management strategy (if applicable) for the applications system
- Application Health Check. Manage activities to ensure availability of application (e.g. scheduled restart, application services restart)
- Certificate Management. Manage certificate and encryption key renewals
- Release Calendar. Maintain release calendar for all changes and key events (infrastructure changes) for the applications
- Vendor Management. Manage respective service provider for execution of the activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in IT/IS preferred
- Experience in Applications Maintenance in banking systems required; experience in applications maintenance in core banking CASA, Time Deposits and Lending systems preferred
- Technical experience in mainframe technologies (COBOL, JCL, EZtrieve) and CICS preferred
- Technical experience in MQ Series preferred
- Experience in Applications Software Delivery Life Cycle required
- Experience in Infrastructure Services preferred
- Experience in ITIL preferred
