Responsibilities:
- Establish a capacity in local communities to build local enterprise owned and operated within the community
- Develop and provide business facilitation and incubation services from business idea through to operation and ongoing support
- Identify and encourage viable business aspirations
- Promote and encourage entrepreneurship
- Establish / source fee for service business support e.g. Bookkeeping services
- Facilitate networking, involvement and support community-based economic development
- organisations
Requirements:
- Only Singapore Citizens and Singapore PR need apply
- Be a 'people' person - oriented to dealing with life situations and issues, have patience and perseverance.
- Experience in business facilitation, establishment and/or incubation
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring and 'on the job' skills transfer
- Self sufficient and motivated
- Able to communicate effectively with a wide range of clients and stakeholders
- Grant writing skills and knowledge of funding and finance sources
- Passionate about capacity building and systemic change
